During my years at Holy Child, the self-belief and zeal inculcated within me was enough to last me a lifetime. Transitioning from a young boy, who had zero confidence and no ambition left in him, to become the strong, self assured person I am today is all thanks to the exposure I received at HCS. Being inspired during my years at Holy Child, I went on to receive the Award for Excellence as Best Student of the Year 2014-15, on my graduation from Christ University, Bangaluru and passed out as PG from Xavier Institute of Communication, Mumba. I am grateful to my parents, teachers and the Holy Child Management for my valuable years of growth, which i will continue to cherish all my life, and aim for nothing less than stars.
I will be forever grateful to Holy Child! My years at HCS will always be the most beautiful and cherished memories in my life. The poise and confidence gained, recognition of one’s own worth, all came into full play when I learnt to face life after school and realised how perfectly we had been nurtured at Holy Child for our coming years!
My name is Dr. Arunjeet Gosal. I am 24 years old and an ex-student of Holy Child School of batch 2009-10. After school I opted for medical stream as since childhood the white coat and stethoscope always caught my attention which are symbols of putting compassion into action and also I wanted to fulfill my father’s dream of seeing me become a doctor as I am the first doctor in my family, plus science had always been my favourite subject. After clearing the pre medical entrance test and scoring 94% in my boards in 2012 I got selected at one of the premier medical college of India, Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh for my undergraduate MBBS degree. Recently, I graduated from college and currently I am done with my MD from the USA. Further my hobbies are travelling and playing basketball ever since school times when I was the captain of the team and even played at District Level. I have always been a sporty person and believed that extracurricular activities are as important as academics. I also got the golden opportunity to become the Vice Captain of Holy Child School and also was entitled Miss Holy Child at my farewell in 2010. It has been years and I still miss my school days as I have many fond memories with my teachers and friends. And I strongly believe that my school played a very crucial role in making me the person I am today.
The journey of Holy Child School began in the year 1991 from Panchkula, Sector-2, with our founding members having the vision to create an institution that was not only to impart education but also to groom the young minds of today, to take on the challenges of tomorrow, excel and achieve their limitless potential.
